FALL 2024

Prior to October 31 Cancel your housing application if you are not attending for spring 2025. The cancellation fee is $150 up to October 31. The cancellation form is online at mksyz.com/housing/cancellation/ 

November 1 - 30

Cancel your housing if you are not attending for spring 2025.  The cancellation fee is $300 during November. The cancellation form is online at mksyz.com/housing/cancellation/ 
December 1 - January 1 Cancel your housing if not attending for spring 2025. The cancellation fee is $600. The cancellation form is online at  mksyz.com/housing/cancellation/
December 12 at Noon Last day to move out for Fall 2024. Move-out only applies to fall residents who are not returning for spring. Residents not returning for spring must remove all items from their room and return their keys to their residence hall front desk by noon.
December 16 Fall grades are available after 9:00 a.m. Check your grades in MyFAU. Residents who are academically suspended are expected to return to campus to move out and return their room keys. Cancellation fees apply to suspended students.

 

SPRING 2025

October 1, 2024  Housing applications for Spring 2025 open at 9:00 a.m. through the Housing Portal. This is only for students who are not living on campus for the fall 2024 semester. Spaces are extremely limited, and the housing application will close when all projected spaces have been filled. Due to the high demand for housing, the Housing Portal may exceed the number of allocated users at 9:00 a.m. on October 1. Access to complete a housing application is first come, first served. The priority for a housing assignment will be given to first-year students entering spring 2025.

December 1 The deadline to submit a housing appeal for spring 2025.
December 9 – January 3 Housing assignment information is emailed to new spring residents on a weekly basis. You must be registered for spring classes to receive a housing assignment.
January 3 - 4, 2025

Move-In for new spring residents is January 3rd from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and January 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. New residents should check in at their residence hall front desk for their keys. 

Returning residents can check in at their residence hall front desk on January 3rd starting at 12 p.m.  

February 3 – 7,  2025 (Tentative) Housing renewals for fall 2025 - spring 2026 for current Boca Raton spring residents. On-campus housing for returning students is extremely limited.
February 11- 14, 2025 (Tentative) Housing renewals for fall 2025 - spring 2026 for current Wilkes Honors College (Jupiter campus) spring residents. Priority is given to students who must complete their two-year on-campus living requirement for Wilkes Honors College.
May 1, 2025 at Noon Last day to move out for the spring 2025 semester. All residents are expected to move out and return their keys to their residence hall front desk by noon.

 

SUMMER 2025

December 16, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. The summer 3-term housing application is available for admitted first-year students through the Owldone portal. Newly admitted students must pay their tuition deposit at least 24 hours in advance to access the housing application. 
March 3 Summer 1, 2, and 3 term housing applications is available for current students and new transfer students.
May 11 Move-In Summer 1 & 2 term students from noon – 4:00 p.m.

June 19 – 20 (Tentative)

Move-In Summer 3. Students can schedule a move-in appointment through the Housing Portal after they receive their housing assignment.
June 20 Move-Out by 5:00 p.m. for Summer 2 residents. Residents are expected to move out all of their items from their rooms and return their keys to their residence hall front desk by 5:00 p.m.
August 1 Move-Out by 5:00 p.m. for Summer 1 and 3 residents. Residents are expected to move out all of their items from their rooms and return their keys to their residence hall front desk by 5:00 p.m.

 

FALL 2025

March 1

The Housing Interest Form for Fall 2024 is available at 9 a.m. for admitted transfer students who have paid their tuition deposit, graduate students, and current students who have not renewed their housing application. Please note that the Housing Interest Form is not an application for housing.
March 17 at 5 p.m. Priority date to complete a housing application for newly admitted first-year students. Newly admitted students must pay their tuition deposit at least 24 hours in advance to access the housing application. The housing application will close when spaces have been filled.
April 1 The Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 deadline to request a roommate for all first-year students admitted who have completed a housing application.
July 1 The deadline to submit a housing appeal for Fall 2025.
August 12 – 15 (Tentative dates are subject to change) Move-In for new first-year students. Students can schedule a move-in appointment through the Housing Portal
